Steven & Emily
Old wedding traditions can hold great meaning for most, but for some in our culture they just become empty symbols, which I completely understand. One of the things that I enjoyed the most about Steven & Emily is how they planned their wedding around the idea of just spending quality time with their family and closest friends. I was told that they didn’t care to spend a whole lot of time posing for formal photographs, doing all of the “first dances” and other traditions that would take time away from spending time engaging with their family at the reception. Of course, you’ll see a few family photographs and even a few of Emily dancing with her father, yet non of these were planned or forced. Every photograph in this blog happened as naturally as we could make it, because that’s what mattered to Steven & Emily the most, having a completely natural wedding day that they could spend with their beloved friends and family.
